Sophia fits into our family perfectly and while she has the same parents as Ava Claire, she has proven to be her own person and do things her own way which proves that God does indeed design us each individually. This year has flown by.
Some of Sophia's accomplishments this year:
-knows all of her ABC's...
-speaks in 6-8 word sentences, yes she does!!
-knows her colors and shapes
-draws straight lines
-makes peanut butter sandwiches (with some help)
-knows lots of songs and can be found blurting them out at any given moment, even at night.
-her two best friends are fluffy chick and paci. somehow since Christmas, cow and sock monkey have been added to that combo.
-wakes up singing most mornings
-loves, loves, loves to sleep!!!
-started CLC and loves it!
-can almost ride a tricycle
-wants to walk barefoot everywhere
-loves books more than any other toy
-mimics everything her big sister does
-helps out a lot with baby sister Cora
-started sharing a room with her big sister and has done amazingly well
-has 3 Bible verses memorized
Some not so good moments of the year
-first trip to the ER for stitches in the lip
-many bad fits when she doesn't get her way
-rsv one too many times
-fell face first into a pond w/o even bending her legs, yep, just toppled over.... all you could see was the back of her head
-almost choked on a dum dum sucker
-almost drown in the bathtub w/me right there
I am thankful today that God watches after my little girl far better than I could. We love her and can't wait for another year filled with joy, laughter, and adventure.
