Road Trip

Our little family of 4 loaded up the truck and drove the 5 hour trip (well, 6 hours with a toddler and a baby) up to the Texas Panhandle. We got to celebrate Reid's 5th birthday. Reid is my nephew and Ava and Sophia's cousin. Nana and Papa treated us well and helped us gain some weight that we had been looking for... :0 My dad is the ultimate griller and we did not leave disappointed. As a matter of fact, dad sent us home with a 20 lb. slab of ribeye steaks that had been aged for 30 days. Coby is cutting them and seasoning them as we speak so that we can vaccuum seal them. Yummy! About 10 minutes down the road on our way back to the metroplex, Ava said, "I had fun at Nana and Papa's!" I think that Papa gave Miss Ava her fair share of chocolate and cheetos while we were there.
