A Special Mother's Day

Yesterday was a beautiful day for me. I not only got to celebrate life with my mom, mother-in-law and both daughters, but I also got to dedicate Sophia Grace along with Coby to our Lord. This day was significant for us because it was our declaration as her parents that we will raise her and train her in the way of righteousness (as the Bible puts it) so that when she is able to understand she will prayerfully submit her life to Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9-10 says, "That if you confess with your mouth 'Jesus is Lord' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with the heart that we believe and are justified and it is with the mouth that we confess and are saved." Coby and I pray every night that our girls will commit their lives to Jesus at an early age so that they can make an incredible impact for the kingdom of God here on earth. We realize that our purpose here on earth is to glorify Christ. There is no greater blessing than to see that our girls would live a life to glorify Christ as well.
